Is a genuine leather suede a pig?

I went to wallgreen, and came out with this gloves, It said genuine leather, and its a suede, I was wandering whether it is a pig skin or other skin?

Any skin or hide that has been tanned is leather (cow, pig, frog, fish etc. ) The reverse of any piece of leather is suede so your gloves could be made from any type of animal, pigskin is often used for gloves, clothing etc as it is quite soft along with kid skin.
