How much does it cost to reupholster a car with genuine leather?

Probably 50% of the value of your car for materials and labor (about 1000). And it will only raise your car’s value about 250 if that.
If you want to replace them (can’t live with it), go to a junkyard with your car and strip it bare for the parts you need. If you can’t locate your car at a junkyard find an suv (ie something gm) relatively current and strip that car of all the floor and headliner material and just cut it to size (it obviously should be bigger than in your sedan for this to work). You can probably find transplant seats that you can make work as well.

for real leather a minimum of at least 800 for just the seats (if you get lucky) the floor maybe 300 and then ceiling about 100 bucks good luck

Well just di it all in Vinyl! Well you are probaly thinking everybody will know its not leather!! Well in reality the only leather in your car in the center inserts of your seats. All the trimming and backing is vinyl. . . . . . . could you tell the difference? Go check it out now that you know and you should be able to see the difference. Plus leather does not last as long as Vinyl, and requires to be conditioned frequently. Thats another reason theseats will crack and dry but the rest of the seat like the backing and sides remain ok. But if you call around then you can have just the inserts replaced back with leather and that is cheaper. Average price is about 600 per seat just for that. On a low end you might find someone for 400 per seat. If you do vinyl then it will be half of those figures and in some cases less.
